We are currently in the process of realigning our curriculum to the new 2007 Maine Learning Results. We are using a Curriculum Mapping approach and hope to have a Master Curriculum Document to work from by June 2009

The document below was created by the guidance counselors and Career Prep instructors of MSAD # 11. While working on this document, we were determined to spend time talking about two important issues:
*what currently is and
*what could be.
As is often the case, the actual and the ideal do not perfectly align. Time constraints, staffing numbers, resources, and financial constraints impact what happens on a day-to-day basis within the context of guidance counseling.
We have tried to fairly depict where our programs are today and what we do while also believing that our district must continue on a path of continual introspection and improvement.
We submit this document as a statement of our belief in our positive impact on the students and communities represented in the MSAD # 11 district.
