Purpose:
•To be reflective about our curriculum and instructional practices.
•To provide information to the Long Range Planning Committee and the School Board in order to set short term and long term curriculum goals
•To provide all curriculum areas fair access to curriculum funds in a rotation.
Curriculum Areas will use the Curriculum Review Framework in order to be self-reflective about areas of strength and areas that need upgrading. This framework requires that evidence be presented to substantiate any opinions. Curriculum Review Presentations are given to the CCC and to the MSAD #11 School Board Long Range Planning Committee.
This will be the Curriculum Review Cycle:
2007-2008 English Language Arts
2008-2009 Mathematics
2009-2010 Science, Visual and Performing Arts
2011- 2012 Social Studies, Health/PE
2012-2013 Technology, Career Prep
2013-2014 World Languages, Guidance
Cycle starts over
