Curriculum Reviews

Purpose:

•To be reflective about our curriculum and instructional practices.
•To provide information to the School Board Curriculum Committee in order to set short term and long term curriculum goals
•To provide all curriculum areas fair access to curriculum funds in a rotation.

Curriculum Areas will use the Curriculum Review Framework in order to be self-reflective about areas of strength and areas that need upgrading. This framework requires that evidence be presented to substantiate any opinions. Curriculum Review presentations are given to the School Board Curriculum Committee.

This is the Curriculum Review Cycle over five years:

1. English Language Arts
2. Mathematics, Health/PE
3. Science, Visual and Performing Arts
4. Social Studies, Technology/Career Prep
5. World Languages, Guidance
