Gardiner Area High School hosted their 8th annual Scholarship Reception on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. This event serves as an avenue for scholarship sponsors and their recipients to meet. The 24 recipients attending shared their first semester experiences with their sponsors as well as parents, school board members, and faculty and staff. We feel very fortunate at GAHS that we have a very strong sponsor base supporting our seniors each year. The combined total scholarships offered amount to over $70,000.
Progress reports are being mailed out December 2. Please expect them in your mail boxes on Saturday and Monday. If you have signed up for electronic mailings/notifications you will not receive a US Postal mailing. Please continue to check the Powerschool website for your child(ren) grades and attendance!
Saturday, December 3, 2011 Gardiner Area High School will be hosting a craft fair from 9am to 3pm.
Admission is free. When leaving GAHS craft fair, do not forget to stop by LER and Pittston's craft fairs.
LER's fair runs from 9am-2pm and Pittston's runs from 8am-2pm.
GAHS will once again be preparing Thanksgiving food boxes for families in the MSAD 11 community. Because of need, this year we will be increasing the number to 125 boxes. We need all the help we can get. Non-perishable food items (i.e. canned vegetables, stuffing mix, pie crust, cranberry sauce, jello, pasta, pie fillings, pudding, baked beans, soups, macaroni & cheese) are needed.
