Flag Day was celebrated today, June 14, 2010, at Laura E. Richards School. Staff Sergeant Dana Walls was our Master of Ceremonies, American Legion Past 4 Commander explained what each fold of the flag represented, and Staff Sergeant Chris McBean and Private First Class Terran Stone demonstrated how to fold the American flag.

Maine Dental Health Out-Reach offers annual dental hygiene care at school free to MaineCare recipients. This program happened within a self-contained mobile lab that parked in our school parking lot. The Tooth Angels helped brighten the smiles of about 30 children at LER during the month of March. Thank you Tooth Angels!
