Measures of Academic Progress
Submitted by Curriculum Director on January 22, 2010 - 7:24am.Measures of Academic Progress™ (MAP) Tests – these computerized tests are adaptive and offered in Reading, and Mathematics. When taking a MAP™ test, the difficulty of each question is based on how well a student answers all the previous questions. As the student answers correctly, questions become more difficult. If the student answers incorrectly, the questions become easier.
No Child Left Behind School and District Report Cards
The federal No Child Left Behind Act requires that all states, school districts, and schools provide annual report cards to parents and communities. Each report card contains information about state assessments, attendance and graduation rates, status of adequate yearly progress (AYP), and information about "highly qualified" teachers.
