Responsibility

At Laura E. Richards School students are discussing and practicing “character” skills. Each month during our assembly, the children will be assigned a new skill so they know what their mission is for the month. Students who demonstrate the appropriate character skills are presented with a “star student” award certificate and pencil, and are recognized at the monthly assembly.
This month students at Laura E. Richards are learning about responsibility. They are trying hard to take care of their belongings by putting away their backpacks, cleaning up at centers, and bringing home and returning their “Home-School” folders. Students are also being reminded that it is their responsibility to say kind words and to keep their bodies safe. Here are our "Star Students!" Congratulations for being responsible students!!
