Second Grade's Caterpillars Have Arrived!

Second graders at LER have observed tiny caterpillars grow, hang as a "J", change into chrysalises, and, finally, emerge as Painted Lady Butterflies! This lesson engages students into life science as they get to watch "up close" the life cycle of this organism. Students certainly celebrated when these beautiful butterflies were released!
