Pumpkin Day

We have spent the past week learning about pumpkins. We read books about how pumpkins grow and about what happens to pumpkins after they decompose. We worked in small groups and scooped out all of the seeds and put them in a plate. We picked different shapes and carves faces on our pumpkins. We then named our pumpkins. We weighed the seeds in a scale to see which groups had the most. We topped our morning off by making pumpkin pancakes!!
