A Literary Memoir

Students will write a three page "memoir" from the perspective of a fictional character. Information from research will be used to accurately depict the character's life in the chosen time period. "Memoirs" will be peer edited in class and will include a Works Consulted Page in standard MLA format. The final product will be presented to the class with additional technological resources (such as power point, slide show, or other supplementary materials), and will include a cover page and reflection sheet. Presentation may be done in costume.
