Different Shapes Equal Pieces
1. Students will begin the assessment by reading three fractions aloud to the teacher from a pre made list. The teacher will point to the fraction and the student will read it aloud.. 2. Students compare two different fractions. They will circle the larger fraction adn explain by drawing and writing which is bigger. 3. Students will classify fractions by placing them in the correct containers. 4. Students will order the fractions given and place them appropriately on the number line. Extension: The students will give the correct answers. Anne ate the most. Sue ate the least. Altogether, they ate 1 whole pizza and one half of another.
