Students think about how the Native Americans of the Eastern Woodlands used their environment to meet their three basic needs. In a pictorial and written response they will identify the basic needs and explain how they used their environment to meet these needs. They will compare the Native American of the Eastern Woodlands to another group of Native Americans and decide in which environment it would be harder to meet the three basic needs and why.
