No School Announcements
On mornings when storms prevent school from being held “no school” bulletins will be announced
several times on stations WABK, WMME, Channel 6, Channel 8, and Channel 13. The decision to
have no school will be made as early as possible. Please listen for the announcements and do not call
the schools, superintendent, principal, or teachers. Occasionally, the weather becomes so inclement
during the school day that children will be dismissed early. Radio announcements will be made. All
teachers should have an Emergency Dismissal Form that instructs their children on what to do and where
to go when school is canceled early. Please do not leave a message saying that your child should call
you. Thanks for your help.
No Walking School Bus until Spring
The walking school bus program will be put on hold until the Spring. We will
let you know when it starts up again. We will have to wait and see how long
the snow lasts.
