WEDNESDAY MAY 28-ALL BANDS CONCERT-7PM

THURSDAY MAY 29- SENIOR SUPPER 5 PM, GAHS CAFETERIA-
-A nice meal just for seniors (No underclassmen or family members, for seniors only.) Great food (donated by Applebee’s!!!), prizes and entertainment. Food is prepared and served by GAHS faculty. Dress is casual.*Note that this is last time that seniors will attend periods 3-O & 4-O classes until the final exam in these classes next week.

FRIDAY May 30th –SENIOR EXAMS PERIODS 1-B & 2-B-
Seniors are to attend regular classes periods 3 & 4.

MANDATORY SENIOR CLASS MEETING 1:30-2:00PM, THEATER-
All seniors are to report promptly to the theater at 1:30 to pick up and try on caps and gowns. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO PICK UP YOUR GOWN.

SUNDAY JUNE 1-BACCALAUREATE-2pm, HIGHLAND AVE. METHODIST CHURCH,GARDINER.
Optional attendance. Caps, gowns, stoles, and tassels are to be worn. More information will be coming.

MONDAY JUNE 2-REGULAR SCHEDULE + SENIOR EXAMS PERIODS 1-O & 2-O

-MANDATORY MARCHING PRACTICE IN THE GYM 10:45AM-12:00PM
Seniors will be dismissed for the day after marching practice.
*Be on time-no exceptions.
*Seniors who owe books/equipment or who need signatures from teachers verifying that they have passed a class will not be put in the marching line until these items are taken care of. (This does not include books that you still need to study with for final exams
that occur after today.) If a senior is failing a class and needs to pass a final exam in order to pass and graduate, then marching will not be allowed until a passing grade is presented to the guidance office.

Participation in marching can then occur once the guidance office clears the senior for graduation
*Marching lines will be formed, the diploma list will be created, important announcements will be made, and seniors will march for the first time!

TUESDAY JUNE 3-MANDATORYMARCHING PRACTICE 8:00A.M. IN THE GYM
We will run through the Class Day ceremony as part of this practice.

SENIOR EXAMS PERIODS 3-B & 4-B-seniors
will attend periods 3 & 4 and take exams after marching practice.

-ACADEMIC AWARDS-6PM IN THE GYM

WEDNESDAY JUNE 4- MANDATORY MARCHING PRACTICE 8:00AM IN THE GYM
CATC RECOGNITION DAY 9:45AM-CONY GYM

SENIOR EXAMS PERIODS 3-O & 4-O - Seniors will take exams periods 3 & 4 after marching practice.

THURSDAY JUNE 5-CLASS DAY
-Arrive at 7:15 in the Theater with cap, gown, stole, tassel. (Be sure that they are ironed and use the lowest setting possible on the iron or hang on a coat hanger for a few days prior to today
-Check in with line leader and wait in the theater for further instructions. (Class Day will begin at 8:00am)

-FUNTOWN TRIP-Busses will leave from the front of the school immediately after Class Day and return no later than 4:30pm. Cost is $12.00. Payment should be made as you get on the bus that day. Lunch can be purchased at Funtown or you can bring your own lunch. Any senior attending this trip MUST ride the bus to and from Funtown.

FRIDAY JUNE 6-MANDATORYMARCHING PRACTICE AT THE CIVIC CENTER
-All seniors will meet in front of the high school at 7:30am and ride the bus to the Civic Center. We will run through the graduation ceremony during this practice. Tickets for graduation will be distributed during this practice. RIDING THE BUS IS MANDATORY. BE ON TIME.

SATURDAY JUNE 7-GRADUATION!!!! (6:30PM, ARRIVE AT 5PM)-
-Students need to arrive at the Civic Center at 5PM and report to the assigned senior room.
-Appropriate clothing is required. Don’t forget caps,gowns, stoles, and tassels.
-Project Grad bus will leave from the Civic Center shortly after graduation. Everyone going to Project Grad must ride the bus to and from the Alfond Center
-The bus will return seniors to the Gardiner Elks Lodge for breakfast in the morning. You can leave your car at the Elks Lodge or have your ride pick you up there after breakfast.

Wednesday June 11- END OF THE YEAR ATHLETIC AWARDS-6PM GYM

SEATING AT GRADUATION:
TICKETS FOR GRADUATION WILL BE GIVEN TO SENIORS AT THE FINAL MARCHING PRACTICE , FRIDAY JUNE 6, AT THE CIVIC CENTER. TICKETS ARE FOR SEATING ON THE FLOOR AND THE BOTTOM SECTIONS OF THE AUDITORIUM SEATING. EACH SENIOR WILL BE GIVEN 7 TICKETS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS AND SEATING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE NEEDING HANDICAPPED SEATING. PLEASE CALL OR SEE MISS NELLIGAN TO RESERVE HANDICAPPED SEATING.
