Game 1 of 18... Victory Over Morse

The Gardiner Girls Field Hockey Team opened the 2008 season with a 3-0 win over Morse on Friday (Kennebec Journal Article). The Girls carried over what they had done in the preseason: strong passing, communication, and hustle on both offense and defense and it led to a real Team victory.
Next up is the Gardiner Alumni Game Saturday morning at 10, and then, Game 2 of 18 at Lewiston at 4pm Tuesday.
