Life Science When provided an object from the teacher,students will sketch the object as it appears using a magnifying lens, then sketch the same object as it appears in the field of view under a microscope. Students will prepare the correct type of microscope slide for best magnification and explain why they chose that type of slide. Students are expected to show increased detail and size through increased magnification. Finally, students will explain what the microscope does using evidence from their drawings.
