POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING

MINUTES

Present: Richard Heath, Chair, Becky Fles (6:05), Diane Potter, Tom Farkas,
Paul Knowles

Absent: Bob Brown, Deb Couture

I. Mr. Heath called the Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

II. A. The Committee conducted the 2nd Reading of Section B of the MSAD/RSU #11 Policy Manual, Policy JICIA/Weapons, Violence, and School Safety, and Policy
JFCK/Student Use of Cellular Telephones and Other Electronic Devices.

VOTED: 3-0 Motion by Mr. Heath, seconded by Mrs. Potter to send Section B of the MSAD/RSU #11 Policy Manual, Policy JICIA and Policy JFCK to the School Board for a 2nd Reading and Adoption.

B. The Committee conducted the 1st Reading of Section C of the MSAD/RSU #11
Policy Manual.

VOTED: 3-0 Motion by Mr. Farkas seconded by Mr. Health to send Section C of the MSAD/RSU #11 Policy Manual to the School Board for a 1st Reading.

III. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
