MINUTES

PRESENT: Sarah Ricker, Chair, Richard Heath, Diane Potter, Candace Avery,
Paul Knowles, Howie Tuttle

ABSENT: Bob Brown, Steve Hunnewell

I. Ms. Ricker called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

II. A. Mr. Tuttle reviewed the process and objectives of the Maine
Department of Education’s No Child Left Behind review

B. The Committee brainstormed ideas to work toward further engaging
individuals, businesses, and institutions in seeking educational opportunities
for students.
1. Hire a coordinator?
2. Organize a fall meeting and invite business owners to meet
with the School Board and administrators.

The meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m.
