Puberty Class for Grades 4 & 5

Dear Parents;

We wanted you to be aware that there will be a discussion on puberty for fourth and fifth graders. The girls and boys will be separated when they view a short video and question and answer period in the school library.

The School Nurse and the Guidance Counselor will conduct the class and teachers will be asked to observe. May 18, 2010, fourth graders will have the puberty class and May 20 the fifth graders will have their class.

This is a good opportunity for you to discuss with your child your views and values.
