Dec. 21st - Yes there is school!

Good evening. I am happy to inform you that there will be a full-day of school tomorrow, Thursday, December 21. There will be PREK classes for morning and afternoon students. As of early this afternoon, all of our schools had power restored. The receding waters from the Kennebec River and the on-going clearing of trees and powerlines from roadways should allow school buses to access most homes. For families that live on a road that remains impassable, please call the bus office at 582-6663 to discuss whether a pick up of your child is an option or not. It is possible that buses run late in the morning. I ask for your patience should that occur. Our bus drivers are amazing, often driving through difficult conditions yet always making sure your students are safely transported to and from school.

As a reminder, there is no school on Friday, December 22 which was already scheduled as a day off for the holiday season. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  I hope you all have a safe and joyous holiday season. Happy Holidays!
