Good afternoon. This is Pat Hopkins, MSAD 11 Superintendent of Schools. In light of the recent tragic event, its direct impact on many of our students and staff, and the need to prepare for the well-being of students and staff as they return to school, tomorrow, Monday, October 30, there will be a 2 hour delay to the start of school and no AM-Pre-K. From Pat Hopkins, MSAD 11 Superintendent of Schools: Due to the tragic event in Lewiston last evening and the on-going search for the suspect, all schools and the Central Office in MSAD 11 will be closed today, Thursday, October 26. Without knowing the location of the suspect, who is a resident of Bowdoinham and who has connections to Gardiner, bringing the students and staff together is simply not safe. My heart goes out to the victims, families and those impacted by this senseless act of violence. Hug your loved ones and keep them close. Please be safe
