Guitar Raffle

*** EDITED 9/17/19

Winner will be drawn September 20th, 2019 during Half Time of the home varsity football game.  You can still purchase tickets!!!

In October 2017 the State of Maine experienced a disastrous wind storm. As a result of that wind storm part of the roof of the John A. Bragoli gymnasium was torn off. Torrential rain entered the building and destroyed the gymnasium floor. The floor was removed, and many pieces of the historic floor were distributed in the community.

Brian Lawson, guitar maker, heard of the turf field project and thought making an electric guitar out of some of the remains would make a great guitar. It took Brian 3 months to create this masterpiece. The estimated worth of this one of a kind guitar is $2000. You could own a great musical instrument and a piece of Gardiner history with a $20 raffle ticket purchase.

Tickets can be purchased at GAHS, front office, or at Musicians 1st Choice at 246 Western Ave in Augusta, Maine. They can also be purchased online at our MySchoolBucks.com site.

Only 150 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be on June 27th at 1pm. You do not need to be present to win. The winner will be contacted by Athletic Director, Nate Stubbert.
