What are your plans for after high school (college, major, job, etc.)? - I plan on obtaining my masters and then my PhD in marine biology.
What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve performed in high school? - My favorite piece in band was "The Polar Express" my freshman year.
What is your favorite musical moment in high school? - My favorite musical moment was the creation of the "T-Sax Nation". I have formed such a close bond with my section that I am forever grateful for. I have learned so much about music and life from each other them and I wouldn't have traded it for anything else.
How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you? - Being involved has impacted me and others so positively. Joining band my freshman year, even though it was late, was one of the best decisions I made in high school. In the music room I have found a whole other family I would not made otherwise.
What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students? - To the underclassman: talk to everyone you can and be friendly! Everyone has different experiences they can offer you so take advantage of it!
