Brett recited "Sestina: Like" by A. E. Stallings and "Memory as a Hearing Aid" by Tony Hoagland. Skye recited "I'm Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca and "Salt Cathedral" by Nick Flynn.
It was an amazing night of brilliant recitations, and the English Department is so proud of all 35 competitors! Good luck to Brett as he moves on to the Regionals at Hampden Academy in February!
