What is your favorite musical moment in high school?  -  My favorite musical moment in high school is all of the double sessions weeks for the musicals that I have been a part of. Despite everyone being exhausted by the end of the week, we find many ways to persevere through the extended practices and truly become a family.

How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you?  -  By being in the music department, I have matured greatly.  My growth in high school has happened in the music room and I was able to step out my comfort zones in many ways.  I have found people that I call family and for that I am forever grateful!

What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students?  -  My advice for underclassman is whatever you may go through in high school and the many struggles you may face, just remember the music room will always be a safe haven!!  Stay involved in what you love and stay passionate!

Congratulations, Shelby!  Thank you for your dedication to the band and chorus and for sharing your musical talents with us for all of these years!!
