What are your plans for after high school (college, major, job, etc.)?  -  I plan to go to school and study to become an animator or graphic designer.

What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve performed in high school?  -  Jabberwocky, Modimo, Jenny Rebecca, etc.

What is your favorite musical moment in high school?  -  Being part of the musicals Anything Goes and The Wiz.  Performing with Foreigner onstage in Bangor, and performing Will Power with the chorus at Pizazz.  I can't pick one!

How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you?  -  Being a part of the music department has kept high school interesting and fun for me. Participating in musicals, Pizazz, as well as the chorus itself, gives me something to look forward to. Hearing the music pieces gradually come together to make something wonderful and entertaining as a group is such a fulfilling feeling. This music family may be a large one, but everyone is an important part. Every song, every dance, it's something you can't find anywhere else.

What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students?  -  If you want to be a part of a musical production, ensemble, festival, or whatever it may be, go for it! Yes, you could enjoy watching it as an outsider, but it's a much, much better experience being a part of it. You may be nervous trying out for a part or possibly an audition, believe me, I understand. However, that is a very small part of the process. You're gonna want to be a part of the rest! Don't let your nerves sway you away from what you want. You've got this. :)

Congratulations, Kailyn!  Thank you for your dedication to the chorus and for sharing your musical talents with us for all of these years!!
