What are your plans for after high school (college, major, job, etc.)?  -  I’m planning to attend The University of Maine and major in music education.

What honors festival have you participated in?  -  Jazz All State, All State Chorus, All New England Band Festival, District III Festival

What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve performed in high school?  -  Jazz Ensemble – “September” & “Europa”, Chorus –  “Jenny Rebecca”, Select Choir – “How Can I Keep From Singing”

What is your favorite musical moment in high school?  -  All the stories Dad (aka Mr. Walker) tells during class!

How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you?  -  The music department has given me a home away from home and a place where I can be who I want to be! The music program is a very impactful program that allows people to speak their minds through music and try new things. It has been an honor to be a part of it for 8 years!

What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students?  -  Don’t take anything for granted. Spend every minute enjoying your time here and have fun with what you do! And always remember, as Mr. Walker (Dad) says, “If you’re going to nap, don’t snore too loud”!
