What are your plans for after high school (college, major, job, etc.)? - I will be attending UNE and studying nursing.
What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve performed in high school? - In band it would be Pirates of the Caribbean. For chorus my favorite was The Greatest Show and in select choir it would be All Star
What is your favorite musical moment in high school? - My favorite musical moment would have to be pep band games and getting to bond as a group during those cold, chilly but fun nights.
How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you? - Being involved in the music department throughout my high school years has allowed me to grow so much as a person and friend. It has taught me to come out of my comfort zone and be more social. I have also made some of my bestest friends through the music program as well.
What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students? - Some words of wisdom that I have for the underclassmen would be, take it all in! You never know when things could possibly to come to an end. Sooner or later, you'll realize that our time together is limited; so live in the moment and take it all in. Also, when Walker tells one of his stories, listen. You're going to forget about all the missed notes and bad rehearsals; but I promise you the memories, friends, stories and laughs that are made during these four years will stay in your hearts forever.
