What is your favorite musical moment in high school?  -  My freshman year during musical, the cast created “Musical Olympics” consisting of different athletic events that could be performed in the theater. I also loved when we would all gather around the piano during lunch to break out into song.

How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you?  -  Being involved in the high school music department has given me a safe place to go outside of the chaos of the lunchroom. It has given me a family with so many friends and people that I look up to. It has also lit my passion on fire for music and shown me what I want to do for the rest of my life - share that passion with others!

What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students?  -  WALK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HALLWAY! Always be prepared for Mr. Walker’s story times. Listen intently and absorb all of the wisdom the man can give!

Congratulations, Skye!  Thank you for your dedication to the band and chorus and for sharing your musical talents with us for all of these years!!
