Last night’s Poetry Out Loud contest was a clash of the titans, with some truly amazing competitive performances.  At the end of the night, the judges selected two junior students. Pictured right to left are Caitlyn Paul as runner-up ($75 cash prize), and Shelby Skipper as POL champion ($100 cash prize and personally signed volume of Maine’s Poet Laureate Stuart Kestenbaum’s poetry). (Pictured left to right)  Shelby will represent us in the Northern Region finals at Hampden Academy in January.
