Gay Grant

Earn two hours of community service by attending an author visit and learning about local history at Gardiner Public Library on Tuesday, August 30 at 6 p.m.

Author Gay Grant will discuss her new book and in a slideshow share historic and previously unpublished images of the Kennebec River Valley from the Herman Bryant Collection.

Copies of the book will be on sale at this event. All book sales raise funds for the Gardiner Library Association. The book is $23.99, and we will have a couple of copies available for checkout at the GAHS Library Commons.

At the event, Ms. Butterfield will  have a clipboard for you to sign in to earn your two hours of community service. The talk is planned for about an hour and then there will be time for questions and answers.

If you have any questions, please email Ms. Butterfield at dbutterfield@msad11.org for more information.
