What are your plans for after high school (college, major, job, etc.)? - I am planning on going to college to study biomedical engineering.
What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve performed in high school? – Remember and also Flight of Valor
What is your favorite musical moment in high school? - The best moment in high school was when we performed our commissioned piece "Remember" for the first time at the Spring concert. It was such a special scene to see the entire audience feeling the emotion of the piece. The music hit close to home for a lot of people and it was rewarding to know that the music we play has an impact on people.
How has being involved in the high school music department impacted you? - The music department has shown me how such a large group of people can work together to create something successful, whether it be an annual concert or Pizazz.
What words of wisdom would you share with the underclassmen music students? - Enjoy your time in high school. Make friendships within your ensembles, because it’s not necessarily the performances you remember, but the moments you spend with others in the music department!
