You are invited to an in-person School Board Workshop meeting at the Superintendent’s Office on Thursday, October 20th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This meeting will also be streamed live on our website. Look for the link on the MSAD #11 website right before the meeting begins. Representatives from Healthy Communities of the Capital Area, Joanne Joy, Senior Program Manager and Patricia Buck Welton, DFC Coordinator will be presenting this important student data. 

The Maine Integrated Youth Health Survey (MIYHS) is a biennial survey of Maine students in grades 5 through 12 that monitors health behaviors and attitudes regarding tobacco, alcohol, substance use, mental health, nutrition, physical activity, and protective factors.

Healthy Communities of the Capital Area (HCCA) is a coalition oflocal people who work to improve the health and quality of life in Kennebec County, Maine. HCCA is a non-profit organization working on local, public health district, and state-level goals to improve public health.
