WinterKids Closing Ceremony and parade day fun!
HT WinterKids created wild winter masks to wear during our Closing Ceremony and parade!
With the extreme cold and 40 degrees below windchill that is forecast for today, we would like to ask that parent guardians make sure they are out at the bus stop to receive their children (if they ride the bus) this afternoon. Buses will be running a regular schedule. Drivers will monitor students at each stop to make sure they are received or have access to their home.
Reminder: Thursday, 2/2/23 is an early release day for students in MSAD11.
Due to current road conditions, there will be a 2 hour delay and no morning PREK classes today in MSAD11. The Central Office will open at the regularly scheduled time.

Miss Ladner attended Helen Thompson School and we're so happy she has returned to complete her student teaching with us. You can find her in Mrs. Lucas' classroom!
Students are reusing smoothie cups to taste test different flavors of seltzer water as an alternative to soda…and some healthy free choice options for snack time!

Try out this HT WinterKids Strawberry Banana Smoothie recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen strawberries
½ cup sliced frozen bananas
1 cup almond milk
½ tsp vanilla
4 Splenda packets
½ cup of Sugar Free whipped cream
1. Combine ingredients in a blender:
In blender, combine the frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, almond milk, vanilla, and Splenda.
2. Blend the smoothie:
Blend the ingredients until smooth, top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
*Almond milk can be substituted
