All K-5 students with last names beginning A-M will be invited into the building, and walked in by their teachers for a brief tour of the classroom. All accompanying adults and siblings will remain outside to adhere to our school safety plan.

All K-5 students with last names beginning N-Z will be invited into the building, and walked in by their teachers for a brief tour of the classroom. All accompanying adults and siblings will remain outside to adhere to our school safety plan.
5:30-5:40 Families arrive
5:40-5:55 Classroom tours
For siblings with different last names, the family can select the Open House session to attend. We can't wait to see you!

In an effort to accommodate a larger group of community members and parents than the MSAD11 Board Room will hold, tonight’s MSAD11 School Board meeting is being moved to the Gardiner Area High School Little Theater.

Hello!
I am thrilled to be one of the newest members of the Helen Thompson community. While this is my twelfth year in MSAD 11, it is my first year as the assistant principal and instructional support administrator at HT.
This past year, as the fully remote first grade teacher, I was able to meet some of the wonderful families here in West Gardiner and look forward to building upon those relationships while creating new ones with those I haven’t had the privilege to meet yet. Most importantly, I look forward to supporting the teachers and staff as they continue to engage, nurture, and educate your children. This new role brings many new responsibilities, however, my commitment to supporting students to become lifelong learners will remain the same. I feel so fortunate!

With the first day of school (Wednesday, September 1) just around the corner, it is time to be on the lookout for those much anticipated letters. Your supply lists and classroom teacher assignments should be in your mailboxes by the end of next week! We can’t wait to see our halls filled with friendly faces!
Families are asked to complete this short survey by this coming Friday, August 6th, to help determine how many devices the school district may be eligible to receive funding for, from the federal government.

Good morning. Today will be a remote instructional day for all students in MSAD11. Please take care of yourselves and stay hydrated.
It's DINO DAY in Mrs. Lucas' class!
Due to today’s forecasted heat and unhealthy air quality, today will be an early release day. Without air conditioning in the majority of our classrooms and with students and staff having to wear masks, remaining in our school buildings for the entire school day with room temperatures in the 90’s is not healthy. Therefore, the high school and the middle school will be dismissed today, June 7 at 11 am and the elementary schools will be dismissed today at 12 noon.
While tomorrow is not supposed to be as hot, it is supposed to be very humid. Therefore, tomorrow, June 8, will be a remote instructional day for all students. Please take care of yourselves and do your best to hydrate.
