Not the First. The 27th.
There are currently 20 State funded School Based Health Centers and 6 others that are open that do not get State grant funding.
The community proposed School Based Health Center would be the 27th opened in the State of Maine.
At our Community Engagement Forum, we will hear from one of the 26 about how they operate and how it has impacted their students and their families.

Hosted by the community formed School Based Health Center Advisory Board, this board has membership from the healthcare field, the community, and MSAD 11 staff.
We will cover:
• What is a school-based health center?
• Why do we need a school-based health center at GAHS?
• What will the school-based health center provide to students and families?
• And more!
Save the date & join our conversation.
