MSAD 11 Job Postings 2024-2025

MSAD 11 2024-2025 School Calendar. Please note May 7 was listed as an Early Release Day in error.

Reminder: Thursday, March 14th Early Release Day in MSAD11 has been extended by one hour. The dismissal time for GRMS & GAHS is around 12:00 pm, elementary schools around 1:00 pm.
The Gardiner Area High School was put in ‘shelter-in place’/ ‘lock-in’ for a brief period of time this afternoon due to the report of a suspicious person on West Hill Road. The Gardiner Police and State Police canvassed the neighborhood and were unable to substantiate any threat. A Gardiner Police Officer is currently on campus and will remain on campus for the remainder of the day. Another Gardiner Police Officer will also be stationed at the Gardiner Regional Middle School this afternoon for precautionary reasons only. The State Police will continue to canvas the area while students remain in school. While we will remain vigilant we are confident that your child(ren) is safe.

This week is National School Counselors Week across the United States. We are very fortunate at Gardiner Area High School to have a wonderful group of school counselors who help our students with their academic and social/emotional needs.
We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to them for their hard work and dedication to our students!

There will be a 2 hour delay this morning, January 29th, no am pre-k, and the MSAD11 central office will open at 8 am. While the snow is rapidly coming to an end, road crews need more time to clear the side roads. Enjoy your day and stay safe.
Due to today's storm, all MSAD 11 after-school activities have been cancelled (1/26/24).
We are happy to introduce a new event that we hope will become a tradition here at Gardiner Area High School. Today we held our first Tiger Awards Assembly! 🐯
This morning we recognized students who have excelled in their Capital Area Technical Center courses, students with 60+ hours of community service, and all students who have received Student of the Month this school year.
In addition, we recognized the following individuals for their achievements and dedication to their school community:
Students of the Semester: Ella Kruk (9), Carson Hembree (9), and Cole Hickey (10)
Seniors of the Semester: Aura Henderson, Garrett Babcock, and Taylor Takatsu
Faculty of the Semester: Rita Tran, RayeAnne DeSoto, and Katie Collins.

Due to today’s storm, the high school and middle school will be dismissed at 11 am and the elementary schools will be dismissed at 12. A decision about evening athletics will be made shortly. With more snow than expected, we want to be sure students return home safely.
The Central Office will close at 2:00 pm.
