The School Board revised the MSAD 11 2023-2024 School Calendar at last night's meeting. The changes made are as follows:
Early Release - November 9th - Parent Teacher Conference (in place of October 26)
Early Release - November 20 - Professional Development (in place of November 9)

Our fall Parent Teacher Conferences that were supposed to be held on October 26, 2023 from 12pm - 3pm, were canceled. The school board has approved the change of our November 9th Professional Development/Early Release day to a Parent Teacher Conference Day. Parent/Teacher conferences will now occur on November 9, 2023 from 12:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m, in person. Additionally the district has moved the Professional Development/Early Release day originally planned for November 9th, to November 20th.

Good afternoon. This is Pat Hopkins, MSAD 11 Superintendent of Schools. In light of the recent tragic event, its direct impact on many of our students and staff, and the need to prepare for the well-being of students and staff as they return to school, tomorrow, Monday, October 30, there will be a 2 hour delay to the start of school and no AM-Pre-K. From Pat Hopkins, MSAD 11 Superintendent of Schools: Due to the tragic event in Lewiston last evening and the on-going search for the suspect, all schools and the Central Office in MSAD 11 will be closed today, Thursday, October 26. Without knowing the location of the suspect, who is a resident of Bowdoinham and who has connections to Gardiner, bringing the students and staff together is simply not safe. My heart goes out to the victims, families and those impacted by this senseless act of violence. Hug your loved ones and keep them close. Please be safe.

AP TESTING
A reminder for students and parents that students have until November 1st, 2023 to reach out to guidance about which AP Test they would like ordered. There is a $40 deposit required for each exam ordered.
