Our spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12pm-3pm and from 4pm-7pm. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held in person this semester. If you require a Google Meet, please continue to schedule your time slots and contact the teachers directly to arrange a Google Meet link. Each conference will last ten minutes. If you find that you need more time to discuss your child with any of their teachers, additional time can be arranged with individual teachers, at a later date. Our school is using PTCFast.com to make sign-ups for Parent Teacher Conferences as convenient as possible. Please enter the following web address into your browser window: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Gardiner_Area_High_School Once you are on the website you can select your student(s) teachers. Please select ALL the teachers you wish to see. Then hit “submit”. You will then be asked if these conferences are for one student or multiple students. If it is for multiple students, please complete the name of each student. Then register your name and contact information. This creates a registration for each conference and sends you a confirmation email with a link to choose appointment times. Please keep in mind the location of classes when scheduling. You may want to give yourself a time slot between conference sessions to give yourself time to walk from each conference to the next. English, Health, Career Education, Social Studies, and World Languages are in the C-Wing (right). Math, Alternative Education, Media, JMG, Learning Center, and Science are in the T-Wing (left). Library, Guidance, Arts, PE & the Nurse are in the A-Wing (central building). If you have trouble scheduling your conferences please contact Christina Riddle via phone at 207-582-3150 X3002 or criddle@msad11.org to assist you in scheduling. Childcare will be available during parent-teacher conferences thanks to high school students and GAHS librarian, Katy Jones. There will be story time, coloring, Legos, snacks, and more! Please reach out to Katy Jones at kjones@msad11.org with any questions.

PTC March 27 letter
From Pat Hopkins, MSAD 11 Superintendent of Schools: I want to inform you that tomorrow, Thursday, February 27, will be a remote day for all MSAD11 schools. There are two factors associated with this decision - the potential for poor road conditions due to the forecasted weather and a shortage of bus drivers. Given both the uncertainty of the road conditions and the transportation staffing challenge, I am making this decision now to give families the opportunity to prepare. I understand the inconvenience this may cause for families and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Due to the incoming storm, MSAD 11 schools will have a remote learning day on Thursday, February 13. Students will be going home with learning packets or will have access to Google Classroom materials. If you signed up for lunches on remote days, they will be sent home with your student today.

2/12/25 A message from Mrs. Benedict & Mr. Henderson REGARDING TODAY'S DRAMA CLUB AUDITIONS: We just received permission from the Superintendent to hold 2pm auditions today as long as students understand we will have no bathroom access. Any student unable to return at 2 can contact Mr. H. or Mrs. B to do a virtual audition tomorrow (if the forecast featuring a remote day still occurs). I know this plan is not ideal, but this situation is unique. **This was approved based on the understanding that kids would only be in the building for 20 to 30 minutes and would then leave.**

Pat Hopkins, Superintendent of Schools in MSAD11: I am closely monitoring tomorrow’s weather, which, as of now, is expected to bring snow starting midday. I want to inform you that I am considering an early dismissal tomorrow based on the current forecast and predicted road conditions. While a final decision will be made tomorrow, I understand how disruptive an unplanned early dismissal can be, so I wanted to share my current thoughts to help families plan ahead. Again, any change to the school day due to weather will be announced tomorrow. Have a great evening!
