The community safety concern that prompted the lock-in procedures at the Pittston-Randolph Consolidated School has been fully resolved. As a result, the lock-in procedure has been lifted and the school has resumed all regular schedules.
Due to a known safety concern within the community, the Pittston-Randolph Consolidated School is not permitting anyone entrance into the school building. Students and staff are able to walk freely throughout the building as the safety concern is not directed at the school, but within the community.
This is only being done as a precautionary measure. No threat has been made against any student, staff member or school building. As soon as we are notified that the safety concern has been addressed, the 'lock in' will be lifted and families will be notified.

If your student receives Title 1 services in math or reading, Wednesday night is for you and the family! Please join our Title 1 family night to play fun games and eat yummy light snacks! Mrs. Luken and Mrs. Crawford kindly ask that you RSVP either by sending the form back to school or calling (582-3402) to let us know you'll be attending. We hope to see you Wednesday night!

Tuesday, September 2nd, is the first day of school! Our doors open at 8:10 and students need to be in their classrooms by 8:30! Breakfast is available for all students every school day. If your student is a rider, please pull up to the teacher outside to drop your child off. Please wait to have your child get out of the car until then as we want to keep all our students safe! If a bus is dropping students off in front of you, please wait to drop your child off until the bus has pulled out and please do not pass a bus with their flashing lights on! We also ask that you communicate with your child's teacher whether your child is being picked up or taking the bus at the end of the day! We can't wait to welcome our students back to school!
We’re excited to share that teacher assignment letters will be mailed out on Thursday, August 14. If your mailing address has changed, please give us a call at 207-582-3402 so we can make sure your letter reaches you. If you haven’t received it by August 20, just let us know—we’ll be happy to help.

On Tuesday, August 12, there will be an increased police presence at Gardiner Area High School as part of scheduled law enforcement training exercises. This is a planned activity and there is no cause for concern. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Tiger Food Pantry will be open again this summer, and is open to all MSAD11 students and their families.

2025-2026 PreK Information Night for Parents!
Wednesday, May 21st, 6:00 - 6:30 pm, in the Laura Richards School Gym,
279 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner.
We will be introducing you to the MSAD #11 PreK program and sharing a slide show about a typical day. This is a night for parents and guardians only, to meet the staff and ask questions. We will also explain the screening process, its purpose, and how the results inform us about students' readiness. If you have an incoming PreK student, please join us! If you have not yet registered your child for PreK, please call LER at (207) 582-3612 as soon as possible. Space is limited!

Join us for a fun-filled day at the GAHS Spring Craft Fair, hosted by the Interact Club to benefit the Tiger Food Pantry! Come browse a variety of local crafters and makers, check out our community lawn sale, and explore a sports equipment sale by donation—a great chance to grab some new-to-you gear! 🍔 Hungry? Grab lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM—hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be available at our concessions stand. It’s a day of community, creativity, and giving back—we hope to see you there!
